Some new projects {sneak peek}

 You may have noticed less posts lately. While it is true pregnancy has slowed things down a bit (you know since I nap during nap time now :) However I have been super busy lately creating (and re-creating) several projects. Some for the Belly+Baby series which continues Monday! Other projects are some new patterns. Pregnancy brain makes creating these patterns a much longer process than usual. The one closest to being ready for testing? Baby Basics. The dress above is one of the 6 different items you can make from the pattern.

So do you have a baby? Or do you sew for a baby? The pattern will be in sizes 0-3 months through 12-18 months. So if you have a baby at your disposal and you are looking to be a tester... keep your eyes out on Facebook, I will be looking for testers early next week.
 Another project that is near complete is a free pattern! Whoop whoop! Soon to be released (once I can get myself together) Color blocked, dropped waist, whats not to love?
Oh yeah and a zipper down the back. So there are good things coming, since besides sewing and re-drafting a jacket pattern for the 5th time... (yes 5th) and making 6 different baby items for the baby basics, and a free baby pattern coming Monday, and the free dress pattern coming next week. Things have been busy, but in a good way :) So posts are coming, new patterns are coming and more Belly+Baby goodness is coming. I will see you all soon :)

  1. I love the pleated sleeves! I had that detail on the pattern of a little 1940's dress I made once and it's so cute. Love the baby dress too!

  3. Ohh, I see a Christmas or Thanksgiving dress I will be making (times 2 for 2 daughters). Zippers still scare me but you talked me nicely through the Lovebirds shirt so I think I can make it!

  4. You are awesome. My baby Ruth just turned 1 last week and I can count on one hand the number of things I've made for her to wear.
